Violent former bikie Luke Noormets, 33, wasn’t licensed to hold a gun, yet used one to kill Georgia Lyall, his ex-partner and mother of his only child, before taking his life.
An online fundraiser set up for the little boy, who will now be raised by his grandmother, has already collected more than $40,000.
Noormets, 33, was seen on CCTV riding off from Lyall’s South Guildford home after the 32-year-old’s death.
He called triple zero himself, some time between fleeing the scene and being found with dead in his burning Innaloo rental property.
Neighbour Bella Harding remembered Lyall as “incredibly generous”.
“She was kind and funny, self-sufficient and she was incredibly generous – both with her material things and with her time for other people,” Harding told 9News.

Friends and loved ones also shared tributes to the mum-of-one on social media.
“You worked so hard for your baby and gave him the most amazing life,” one person wrote. “You deserved so much more than this”.
“Leaving behind her beautiful, vivacious and loving five-year-old son.”
Colleagues at construction firm BGC remembered Lyall as “a beautiful person as well as a exceptional legal processional, who will be greatly missed”.
Lyall’s home is just one of the crime scenes resulting in WA having the highest rate of domestic violence in the country.
Nationwide, an average of one woman a week is murdered by her partner.
