MONTGOMERY, Ill. (WLS) — A man wanted in Monday’s domestic gunshot murder in far west suburban Montgomery has been arrested in downtown Hinsdale, the ABC7 I-Team has learned.

The killing occurred just after noon Monday in the 1300 block-of Oak Ridge Lane according to police. A car wanted in connection with the killing was spotted by Hinsdale police this afternoon according to law enforcement sources who spoke with the I-Team.

The driver was taken into custody and a gun was found in the vehicle, the I-Team was told.

It isn’t know whether charges have been placed against the man.

Police responding to the Oak Lane address said they found someone unresponsive at the home.

ABC7 was told the incident is domestic-related and there is no threat to the public.

Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting or victim.
