A 12-year-old girl missing for two days on the Sunshine Coast has been found by her relieved family after a massive search effort.
Mya Baker was last seen leaving a property along Cape Street, in Birtinya at 6.45pm on Wednesday and had not made contact with family since.
On Friday evening though, delighted relatives confirmed to Queensland Police they had finally tracked her down.
Police said around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon that Mya has been found safe and well.

Mya left her home on Wednesday evening without her wallet or shoes and the young girl does not own a mobile phone which made her unreachable.
She told her brother, who was the last person to see her at the time, that she was heading to Birtinya Park.
Her brother went to check on her sister at the park around 20 minutes later only to find that she was gone.
She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt that had red lines imprinted on it and a pair of black bike pants.
Mya’s family reported her missing to police on Wednesday night around 8.30pm.

Sunshine Coast Detective Inspector Chris Toohey told reporters at a press conference on Friday that police had grave concerns for Mya’s welfare.
Inspector Toohey said officers were informed that it was the first time Mya spent the night away from her family without informing her loved ones.
There were also concerns for her safety due to her young age.
Police carried out an extensive search for Mya across surrounding areas and door knocked homes near Birtinya Park and scoured CCTV footage in a bid to find her.
Authorities from Brisbane were also involved in the search and rescue effort for the 12-year-old.
Police also investigated any communication she may have made to anyone online prior to her disappearance.
Members of her school community had also been contacted for assistance in locating Mya.
