Supporters of former Vice President Mike Pence will launch a super PAC on Tuesday to back his possible 2024 presidential campaign, according to reports.
The launch of the “Committed to America” PAC is the latest sign that Pence is expected to soon join the 2024 presidential fray.
“The country’s at a real crossroads and the Republican Party needs a strong conservative candidate who can win,” said Scott Reed, a longtime Republican consultant who will co-chair the group, according to the Associated Press.
“Pence has the experience, the unparalleled character, communication skills and the conservative credentials to win both the nomination and a general election.”
Former Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), who served with Pence in the House, is the other co-chair of the PAC.
Bobby Saparow, who managed Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s successful 2022 re-election campaign, will serve as the group’s executive director, and former GOP Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s communications director Mike Ricci will oversee communications, according to the Associated Press.

The PAC hopes to remind the public of Pence’s experience, character and his conservative bona fides.
“People know Mike Pence, they just don’t know him well,” Reed said. “This campaign is going to reintroduce Mike Pence to the country as his own man, not as vice president, but as a true economic, social and national security conservative — a Reagan conservative.”
