The right-hander allowed one hit and one walk with two strikeouts.

He has not surrendered an earned run in his four appearances this spring.

Big breeze

Mark Vientos went 0-for-4 at the plate with four strikeouts.

He’s struck out 14 times in 41 at-bats this spring with three homers and a .624 OPS.

Caught my eye

Tyrone Taylor homered and just missed hitting another.

The outfielder has looked respectable at the plate this spring with a .740 OPS.

Sunday’s schedule

Jose Quintana, Phil Bickford and Drew Smith are among the pitchers slated to face the Marlins at Clover Park. A split squad, with Tylor Megill on the mound for the Mets, will play against the Nationals in West Palm Beach.
