Melbourne private school student dies after collapsing at rowing training

A Year 12 student from a Melbourne private school has died after collapsing at rowing training.

Melbourne Grammar student Ed Millear collapsed at a boat shed beside the Yarra River in Melbourne CBD yesterday.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed paramedics were called to the scene just after 4.40pm.

Melbourne Grammar has been contacted for comment.
