“I checked our ticket on Saturday before bedtime and I couldn’t believe it,” she told a representative from TattsLotto.
“Initially, I thought that maybe we had won $2500, but when I ran to show one of my daughters, she told me to check the ticket again,” she said.
“We’ve been playing together for a really long time. I started the ticket about 20 years ago and then my two daughters joined in later on and we’ve been doing it ever since.
“I can retire now! Woo-hoo! It’s so exciting. I can have more time to spend with my family.
The winning mum said she and her daughters danced for joy after discovering the multi-million windfall.
She said she then spent the rest of that night wondering if she was stuck in a dream.
The winning ticket was purchased from Hudsons Lotto and Dry Cleaning in Werribee in Melbourne’s south-west.
