Passengers at Melbourne Airport have been forced to dodge walls of water pouring from roofs as wild weather batters the state.
A spokesperson for Melbourne Airport told Daily Mail Australia leaks have been reported throughout multiple terminals with some flights delayed.
‘There have been some leaks across the terminals due to a severe storm and we have crews working to clean it up,’ a Melbourne Airport spokesperson said.
‘We apologise to all our passengers.’

The severe weather hit the airport around 2pm and resulted in some flights being diverted while other planes were placed in a holding pattern.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Melbourne saying heavy rainfall and damaging winds were expected across the state.
More than 100,000 passengers were estimated to be at Melbourne Airport on Thursday as holiday travel gets into full swing.
