Melania Trump seemed to keep a low profile as she stepped out with her husband, President Donald Trump on Friday morning in Washington

Melania Trump appeared to be keeping a low profile as she stepped out with her husband, President Donald Trump on Friday morning in Washington, D.C.

The First Lady, 54, kept things casual in a pair of black skinny jeans, black lace-up boots, and an army green puffer jacket, which appeared to be the $995 Leonard Puffer Coat by designer Rag & Bone.

She accessorized with a black knit beanie and sleek black aviator sunglasses – which seemed to be a swipe at former President Joe Biden who made the eyewear part of his signature style.

The couple were headed on Marine One to visit Asheville, North Carolina, a region that was devastated by Hurricane Helene this past September.

Melania’s informal yet appropriate outfit was a far cry from what she wore when she visited children separated from their families at the Mexico border in 2018.

At the time, she wore an extraordinary jacket with the slogan ‘I really don’t care, do u’ emblazoned on the back of it.

The $39 statement jacket was from Zara, and she paired it with white skinny jeans and white-and-green Adidas Stan Smith sneakers.

The couple’s visit to North Carolina comes just four days after Trump was officially sworn in as the 47th President of The United States.

During the inauguration weekend, Melania stunned in a number of glamorous looks – a bit different than her dress-downed appearance Friday.

On Monday morning, as the two arrived St. John’s Episcopal Church just hours before his inauguration ceremony, the First Lady opted for a long, tailored navy-blue coat by American designer Adam Lippes.

A similar coat is listed on Lippes’s website for $4,290.

She accessorized the look with a pair of navy-blue suede Manolo Blahnik heels and black leather gloves for the non-partisan service.

Underneath the coat, she wore a white wrap top, adding a pop to the otherwise classic outfit.

However, the real star of the show was a large navy wide-brimmed hat with a flat top and white trimming, designed by Eric Javits – also an American brand.

The hat tied together her entire look, as she sported an elegant bun and tiny diamond studs.

And, as they attended a number of inaugural balls on Monday evening, Melania mesmerized in an elegant strapless gown designed by her stylist, Hervé Pierre.

The mother-of-one ensured all eyes were on her in the long, flowing white dress with a thigh-high slit and a daring black piece of fabric that wrapped around her body.

Since the start of his term Monday, Trump has already issued a number of executive orders and pardoned all of the January 6 rioters.

Meanwhile, Melania is back in The White House, as she explained in recent interview with Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends that she felt much more prepared this time around.

Trump served his first term from 2017 to 2021, losing to Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

‘I know where I will be going. I know the rooms where we will be living. I know the process,’ she said.

She also revealed that her 18-year-old son, college student Barron, will come visit.

‘He will come and visit, yes,’ she said.

‘I feel that children we have them feel they are like 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them. And then we give them the wings to fly. And I always respect Barron’s yes and no and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.’
