Six victims have been reported, including at least one police officer, in a shooting outside the Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky.

Metro police have advised the public to avoid the area of the 300 block of East Main Street in the downtown area of the city, as Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear arrives on the scene.

Dispatchers heard on police scanners have indicated that the shooting occurred on the first floor of the building, in front of Louisville Slugger Stadium — located just hours from Nashville, where a gunman recently opened fire at a Christian school and killed six people.

Sources say cops had to force their way into the building, where they confronted the gunman who has been ‘neutralized.’

At least six people have reportedly been transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds, but police previously confirmed on Twitter that there are ‘multiple casualties’ from the shooting.
