‘We were messaging, and I was going to see him on a Saturday night’ she explained.
‘Then he said he needed to take someone out, and I never spoke to him again. He ghosted me.’
Paul, clearly caught off guard, acknowledged their shared history and admitted he wasn’t in the right place back then.
‘When we met, I was frustrated because it felt like the right person at the wrong time. I was going through a rough patch with work and family,’ he said.
‘I just had to let her go, but I didn’t want to. Seeing her now feels like the universe is giving me a second chance.’
