Police and paramedics were called to the ramp near Main Road in Solomontown just after 6am.

The 50-year-old man had been pulled from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.

Port Pirie detectives along with crime scene investigators and water operations police are at the scene.

The man’s death does not appear suspicious at this time, according to police.
