A man was found dead on railway tracks in Sydney in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The body was found at Wollstonecraft station, six kilometres north of the city’s CBD, at about 4.40am.
The train station was seen taped off early on Sunday morning as police investigated.
‘Initial information provided to officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command indicate the incident appeared to have been misadventure,’ a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
‘The man is yet to be identified and inquiries are continuing.’
Trains on the North Shore line were cancelled for an hour due to the incident but started running again at about 6.30am.
