WA Police have said they are using all resources available to find a man after a woman was found dead and another was found injured at a home in Perth’s south-east last night.

Homicide squad Detective Senior Sergeant Keith Neubronner spoke to media today, warning that Deng David Ker should not be approached.

“I urge the community to be cautious if you see Deng David Ker,” he said.

Emergency services rushed to the home on Ulandi Court in Beckenham about 11.20pm last night (2.20am AEDT), after a call from family members.

They arrived to find a female aged in her 60s dead a female aged in her 30s with injuries.

“Police received reports of an altercation at the home involving multiple parties,” Detective Senior Sergeant Neubronner told reporters.

“As a result we had the death of one person and injury of another person. They are mother and daughter.”

“Both women are believed (to be) assaulted with an edged weapon of some sort.

“We are not sure what weapon it was.”

Ker, who is known to police, was last seen leaving the home about 11.30pm yesterday, according to police.

“A serious incident occurred at this home last night and detectives believe Deng may be able to assist with the investigation into this incident,” a police statement reads.

Deng is described as dark-skinned, 184cm tall with black dreadlock-style hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white shirt.

Anyone who sees Deng David Ker should call police immediately on 131 444.
