A man charged over the alleged bashing of a former bikie boss in a Bunnings carpark in Queensland will remain in custody.

Harley Cranston, 32, unsuccessfully applied for bail in Brisbane Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Cranston is accused of being one of a group of men who allegedly set upon former Nomads bikie boss Moudi Tajjour in the carpark of a Gold Coast Bunnings.

Tajjour is seen fending off blows while being taunted in footage that was posted to social media.

Tajjour, who at the time had 60,000 Instagram followers and 15,000 TikTok followers, shared videos on his social media addressing the alleged attack.

He warned the group that he would take revenge but later backtracked on the comments.

Tajjour had to be taken to hospital for head injuries after the alleged assault.

Cranston has been in custody since being arrested and charged with offences including assault occasioning bodily harm while in company.

His matters will next be mentioned in court on May 17.
