An unidentified man has been stabbed to death in southwest Melbourne, with four men arrested near the scene of the crime.

Police were called to a park on Haines Drive in Wyndham Vale, near Ribblesdale Avenue, about 11.30pm yesterday, after receiving reports of youths fighting.

The victim was found with a stab wound, and received medical treatment before dying at the scene.

Two other males were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and those in custody are assisting police with their ongoing investigation of the attack.
