A man has been charged following an alleged road rage incident in Sydney that left another man with serious leg injuries.
Police allege that a 34-year-old man and a 19-year-old man got into an altercation on the Cumberland Highway in Fairfield West on Thursday.
The 19-year-old allegedly drove his car into the kerb, hitting the man before driving away.
The 34-year-old man was then found at the intersection of the Cumberland Highway and Hamilton Road with serious injuries to his legs at about 10pm.
Investigators arrested the 19-year-old at Granville Police Station at 1.40pm on Friday.
The man has been charged with several offences, including, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm (drive manner dangerous), failing to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm, not giving particulars to police, not giving particulars to an injured person, causing grievous bodily harm to person with intent.
He has been refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court later today.
