Man killed, one wounded in double shooting near police headquarters in Chinatown: cops

A man was killed and another wounded in a double shooting Saturday night in Chinatown – just a block away from police headquarters.

The two men were shot when gunfire erupted in the Two Brides neighborhood in Manhattan between Madison St. and St. James Place at around 7:26 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Both victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital, where one was initially in critical condition from a gunshot to his neck before he was pronounced dead.

The other victim, who was shot in the buttocks, is in stable condition, police said.
