A man has been killed in an accident involving machinery at a workplace site in rural northern Victoria.

Police were called to a property on O’Brien Street in Mitiamo, about 50km from the New South Wales border, about 10.30am today.

There, a man aged in his 60s had died.

WorkSafe is investigating and Victoria Police are assisting. 

“Officers will assist WorkSafe in relation to the incident and will prepare a report for the coroner,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
