A man has been stabbed and another has been rushed to hospital with head injuries after a wild brawl erupted at a pub in Sydney. 

Police were called to the hotel on Parramatta Road in Lewisham, in the city’s inner west, just after 3am on Saturday after reports of an assault. 

Officers were told three men had been assaulted by a group of people who had left the scene before police arrived. 

The man who had been stabbed was treated by paramedics at the scene before he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. 

He remains in a stable condition. 

Two other men, both aged 35, were also taken to the same hospital after one was treated for head injuries at the scene. 

Police have established a crime scene on the busy road and launched an investigation in the incident. 

A police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia inquiries were ongoing.
