The discovery of a man critically injured outside a home has triggered an investigation by the homicide squad.
The man was found outside a home at Buchanan Place in Greenvale, 20km north of Melbourne’s CBD, at about 4.30am on Tuesday.
Initial reports indicate the man had been shot in the usually quiet suburb.
