Man fatally shot inside NYC park as shooter remains on the loose: NYPD

A man was fatally shot in a Carroll Gardens park Saturday morning, police said.

The victim was shot multiple times in Carroll Park in Brooklyn by a shooter who fled the scene around 2:48 a.m., according to police.

An adult male was fatally shot inside Carroll Park on President Street in the confines of the 76th Precinct.
The shooter fled the scene after the shooting, according to cops. Seth Gottfried for NY Post

The man, who hasn’t been identified, was taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he died.

Police were canvassing the park for video, a police spokesman said.
