Balgowlah stabbing: Two people rushed to hospital

A man has died on a worksite after becoming trapped under a falling water tank.

Emergency services were first alerted to the workplace incident on Auld Street in Eastwood, in Sydney’s northwest, about 8.45am on Wednesday.

Paramedics desperately tried to treat the man, believed to be aged in his 60s, but was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.

A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed a report will be prepared for the coroner and the incident has been referred to SafeWork NSW.
