A man has died after falling from the balcony of a harbourside apartment building in Sydney‘s eastern suburbs.

It’s understood the man, who is believed to be aged in his 30s, fell from the 15th floor of the building on Thornton Street in Darling Point about 9.30pm yesterday.

Police are investigating how he came to fall, with initial police inquiries indicating the fall was accidental.

It’s understood other people were at the apartment when the man fell.

Paramedics and police declared the man dead at the scene.

The people who were in the unit at the time were comforted by emergency services.

A crime scene was established and detectives are investigating. At this time there are no suspicious circumstances.
