A man has died after he was allegedly assaulted on a main street in Noosa Heads in Queensland this morning.
Police said the man died shortly after emergency crews were called to the scene on Hastings Street about 6am.

One man is in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
A crime scene has been established and police are continuing to investigate.
