Man dead, woman fighting for life after altercation in Melbourne

Emergency services were called to an address on Brady Road in Bentleigh East just before 8pm yesterday to find a man with critical injuries.

It’s believed a physical altercation took place between the two males and a female, police said.

One of the males died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

The woman was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said a 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is assisting with inquiries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, but it is believed all parties are known to each other.
