Ahmad, 39, died after being shot on the street in south-west Sydney on April 27.

Yesterday, police said they’d arrested a 26-year-old man during a vehicle stop at Campsie about 12.40pm.

Then they raided a Campsie home, seizing “a number of items” for forensic examination and charged the man with murder.

He was also charged with participating in a criminal group, contributing to criminal activity.

Having been taken to Campsie police station, he was refused bail and scheduled to appear in Bankstown Local Court today.

A 37-year-old man had been arrested and charged in July with accessory to the murder and a 49-year-old had similar charges filed against him in June.
