Police have charged a man with more than 30 firearms, stolen vehicle and other alleged offences following a raid on a property in outer Brisbane.
The 41-year-old was arrested last Friday over a traffic crash involving an alleged stolen motorcycle on the Mount Lindesay Highway, at North Maclean, in Logan.
The previous day police searched a property at Pallara, in Brisbane’s south, and seized 31 alleged stolen vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, a tipper truck, a tow truck and trailers.
A shipping container, excavator, power tools, drugs, two firearms, and a flame thrower were also confiscated.
He has been charged with 24 counts of unlawful possession of motor vehicles, and various firearms and explosives offences.
He also received a speeding ticket for exceeding the limit by more than 40km/h and another driving offence.
The man was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court next month.
