A 47-year-old man has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to a home at Rawson Road, Guildford, following reports of a stabbing.
A 46-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics for a neck wound, and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police also arrested a 47-year-old man and he taken hospital for assessment.
The men are known to each other.
Officers set up a crime scene and began investigations.
Following his release from hospital, the 47-year-old was charged with grievous bodily harm, breaching an Apprehended Violence Order and using a prohibited weapon.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
