A man will face court today after he was charged over shipments of meth worth nearly $100 million.

In May this year, police began investigating after finding about 40 kilograms of methylamphetamine in a storage unit in Alexandria, Sydney.

Police allege a further two linked shipments were found afterwards, including 2.9kg of meth from the US and 1.2kg from Pakistan in September.

On Tuesday, September 26, police arrested a 25-year-old man in the southern Sydney suburb of Alfords Point.

He was charged with multiple offences.

He was refused bail and appeared in court on September 27, where he was refused bail to appear in court again today.

Police will allege in court the man used false identities to receive drug shipments, which he intended to supply for profit.
