At about 11.15am yesterday, emergency services were called to Green Road in Regents Park after a white LDV dual cab ute collided with two pedestrians.

Both of the pedestrians, a 33-year-old man and his son, a four-year-old boy, from Crestmead, died at the scene.

It’s understood the father and son were on their way to get ice-cream from a nearby service station.

The ute driver, a 41-year-old Regents Park man, was arrested at the scene.

He has now been charged with two counts of manslaughter and will appear in court today.

The investigation is ongoing.
