A man has been charged after a child was allegedly indecently assaulted at a Hungry Jack’s restaurant in Adelaide.

Police were called to a fast-food restaurant on Glynburn Road in Firle about 3.40pm on Friday after reports a man had allegedly assaulted a child.

The man was confronted by the child’s parents but fled the scene.

The child was not physically injured in the incident. 

Soon after releasing an image of the suspect, police attended a Mile End home and arrested a 29-year-old man.

He has been charged with aggravated indecent assault and aggravated gross indecency.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
