WA police have arrested a man allegedly involved in a fight at the Westfield Carousel shopping centre in Perth.
The centre was plunged into lockdown around 3.30pm on Friday, after a fight broke out between two men.
Today police arrested a man, who they had been searching for overnight.
Police said that while one of the men involved was armed with a knife, it was not used to injure anyone.
A 20-year-old man was punched and later taken to hospital for treatment for head injuries.
Police had earlier said that three men were involved in the incident, but today said that they were only looking for one outstanding person, apart from the injured 20-year-old.
Police said the outstanding person was arrested today.
Police also confirmed that a knife was secured at the shopping centre yesterday.
It’s not yet known if the men were already known to each other.
Cannington Detectives are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to contact to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
