A major crime scene has been established and a man has been arrested after two bodies were found at a home in Brisbane.

Forensic crews are investigating a property at Stretton, in the city’s south, where a man and woman were found dead this morning.

Police have confirmed one man is in custody in relation to the incident.

The 49-year-old is being questioned by police.

Parts of Coolidge Court have been closed off while police investigate the deaths, which are being treated as suspicious.

“Investigations are underway to identify the deceased,” police said in a statement.

Neighbours told 9News the residents of the property were lovely people who kept to themselves.
