A man has been arrested after a fatal stabbing in country Victoria in the early hours of this morning.
Police allege a man was stabbed during an altercation between two men at a home in Heywood Crescent in Seymour just before 3am.
The man was taken to hospital, but he died shortly after.
The other man attended Seymour Police Station where he was taken into custody.
He will be interviewed by police.
No charges have yet been laid.
Police said the two men were known to each other.
A crime scene was established at the home, and police have started investigating the death.
