A man and a woman have been arrested after another man was allegedly shot in the leg in a suburban home in the middle of the day.
Police were called to a house on Ferricks Street, in the northern Brisbane suburb of Stafford, at about 2pm on Sunday, where they found a man in his 40s with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
CCTV footage obtained by Nine News showed a man with an apparent leg injury hobbling into the home just moments before a gunshot was heard going off.
A red Volkswagen with three people inside was then seen leaving the premises.
Police, using Polair, tracked the vehicle which shortly after returned to the home. A man and woman were then arrested.
The shooting victim was stretchered to an ambulance.
It’s understood police are looking for at least one more person believed to have been involved.
A police spokesperson said there was no threat to public safety and the pair arrested are believed to be known to the victim.
