A man has been charged after an alleged stabbing at a cemetery in Sydney’s south-west last night.

Emergency services found a 30-year-old man with several stab wounds on Joyner Street in Mays Hill at 11.25pm.

Police say a group of three people were walking through the cemetery when a fight broke out with a fourth man, who was camping there, allegedly resulting in a stab wound.

Shortly after a 29-year-old man was arrested outside of the cemetery.

He was treated for minor injuries before being taken to Granville Police Station.

He has been charged with reckless wounding and was refused bail.

He will appear in Parramatta Local Court today.
