A man accused of being the biggest producer of animal exploitation content in New South Wales has been charged with more than two dozen extra crimes after his initial arrest earlier in the year.
Colin Baker, 38, who goes by the online pseudonym ‘Beast Boy’, was arrested at a property in Moorland, about 30km north of Taree, at 7.30am on April 30.
Detectives taking part in a wider sex crime investigation came across Baker’s online profile during a crackdown on other alleged predators in February.
He had used encrypted messages to allegedly share material featuring the sexual abuse of dogs, sheep, goats, chickens and even a dead kangaroo with others.
After the arrest, detectives allegedly found thousands of videos and images of bestiality and child abuse material on his hard drives.
Baker was initially charged with 20 offences but received an additional 29 charges on Monday after police completed their analysis of his electronics and hard drives.
Baker’s additional charges include seven counts of bestiality, five counts of possessing and disseminating bestiality material, committing an act of cruelty upon an animal, as well as possessing child abuse material and 15 counts of using carriage service to access, transmit and soliciting child abuse material.
His original charges were eight counts of bestiality, six counts of producing bestiality material, four counts of disseminating bestiality material, as well as possessing child abuse material, and using a carriage service to access and solicit child abuse material.

Police expect there to be more charges.
A dog that was allegedly sexually abused by Baker was also seized by the RSPCA NSW at his property.
The small white dog, reported missing from the Grafton area about five years ago, has now been returned to its owner.
The case remains before the courts, and Baker is due to appear at Taree Local Court on a later date.
Police said inquiries under Strike Force Trawler would continue.
