The most notable prison breaks around the world

Just days earlier, another man died in his cell at the jail after an alleged altercation with another prisoner.

Officers rushed to the cell about 6.45pm on Friday and provided first aid to a 42-year-old man but he soon died.

Police declared a crime scene and have opened a homicide investigation into the suspicious death.
