Malik Nabers, Abdul Carter and what else is catching my eye at Giants camp

The dog days of training camp are coming, but they’re not here just yet.

There have been 10 practice sessions and plenty of good work, with the offense gaining the upper hand some days and the defense winning the day its share of the time. There are not many starting jobs up for grabs, but there are roster spots out there for the taking.

So where do things stand? Here are my observations two weeks into camp:

• The Russell Wilson-Malik Nabers connection is alive and well.
