Malachi Corley’s goal-line drop reverses first NFL TD in colossal Jets blunder

That’s a rookie mistake that is going to stick with Malachi Corley. 

The first-year receiver out of Western Kentucky dropped the ball just as he entered the end zone on what would’ve been a 19-yard touchdown run on a reverse.

It was ruled a fumble, and the Texans took over in a scoreless game early in the second quarter.

It added to what has been a rough start to the NFL career of Corley.

He was only active with Allen Lazard out due to a chest injury.

This would’ve been by far the third-round draft pick’s biggest play as a Jet. 

Instead, it was another gaffe by a Jet in a season full of undisciplined mistakes.
