Madonna had a busy weekend keeping up with her creative daughter’s many tasks. The mom of six shared what her artsy daughters did this weekend.
Madonna’s Daughter Mercy Had A Photoshoot
The singer’s daughter Mercy James is a whiz with a camera in her hand. She took to the streets of New York and the subway to shoot Ivy Mugler, a performance artist and choreographer.
They vogued, danced, and posed, landing Mercy with what looked like some top shots (she hasn’t revealed them yet). The photoshoot ended this weekend, or at least when Madonna and Ivy decided to share the special moment.
It wasn’t revealed if the shoot was for a specific campaign or just Mercy getting a fantastic opportunity and not wanting to turn it down. Either way, the “Like A Prayer” singer shared a video of how the day went on IG Story.
“Mercy James Slayinggggggg!” she wrote over the video. Mercy sports cornrows, a black hoodie, and black jeans. Her DSLR hung around her neck. The artist means business; she isn’t using an iPhone to shoot off!
Mercy James Was Down In The Dirt
Now, don’t say this repo baby has no work ethic; Mercy was moving like a real photographer, down on the ground, up on benches, right in Ivy’s face, and in all sorts of awkward poses to get her shot. She hopped on the train and bravely continued her shoot with train riders looking on.

This can be such an awkward moment when your work is so public, and people are just staring, but Mercy looked so enthralled with her project nothing else mattered. She played it like a natural.
At the end of the shoot, Mercy and Ivy teamed up in front of the camera to yell, “slay.” The epic moment was made all the better by having her mom’s hit song “Vogue” play throughout the video.
Mercy James Twin Sisters Had A Busy Weekend Too
Madonna’s youngest girls, Estere and Stella, flexed their creative bones this weekend. Proud mom Madonna shared a photo of her girls in crochet outfits that they made themselves.
The gorgeous girls posed in the skirt and crop top combos with matching crocheted hats; one had a purse she had made. We aren’t just saying this; the fits look pretty professional for having been made by ten year old’s.
“Girl Power,” Madonna captioned one of the pics. In the second photo, the girls looked like professional models. Could they be hitting the runway with big sis Lourdes Leon soon? Madonna wrote in the pic, “Cute Crochet Fits….” And promptly bragged, “Made By Stella and Estere!”
Madonna has her girls in other creative activities as well. She shared a while back that Mercy is a great piano player. She gets professional lessons, supposedly one of her favorite hobbies. The same goes for her youngest son, David Banda; he plays guitar and is pretty serious about his music.
Lourdes is a model, and her son Rocco with Guy Richie is into filmmaking like his dad!
