Police are urging the public to assist in the search for a 28-year-old mother who has been missing from the Roma and Dalby areas in Queensland for over a week.
Tayla Spies was last seen travelling along the Carnarvon Highway, just south of the Condamine turnoff heading towards Roma, between the hours of 10am and 1pm on the afternoon of Sunday, February 2.
The young mother was driving a white 2017 dual cab Toyota Hilux with a distinctive black bumper bar and blacked out wheels with Queensland registration 559 GJ7.
In a missing persons statement released on Friday, police described Spies as “Caucasian, with brown shoulder length hair, blue eyes, slim build and approximately 170cms tall.”
In the centre image above, she is pictured in the outfit she was last seen wearing: a fluorescent pink long sleeve shirt and light-coloured shorts.
Spies was known to frequently travel between Roma and Dalby.
A Western Downs man and friend of Spies’, Tyran Norford, posted on Facebook on February 5 asking if anyone had seen her.
He said Spies was “last seen about 11:30am Sunday roughly 30 k from Surat Roma side” and “hasn’t made contact or been heard of since”.
Tayla’s sister, Roma woman Rebecca Spies, shared Norford’s post and similarly urged anyone to come forward with information.
Police are appealing to anyone with information about her whereabouts, to immediately come forward.
