‘Love Is Blind’ Star Marshall Glaze Claims He Is Receiving Death Threats Over Past Tweets

The season 4 contestant from “Love Is Blind” took to Twitter on Friday, writing, “I’m seeing a lot of my old tweets surface from years ago. This happens to pretty much everyone who goes into the public eye. It happened to my cousin and I knew it’d happen to me.”

“Like I said to someone earlier… things change. I was a sad teenager with a lot of issues when I tweeted alot of that. I’ve grown and do not feel or think the same way,” he continued. “Anyone with anything to hide would have gone back and deleted it but I left it up for a reason.”

“I even had a chance to go back and erase it. I elected not to,” he went on. “It’s my progression as an individual. As a human. Those old tweets are just my proof that I have evolved. I thank God for the opportunity to be damaged, seek clarity and forgiveness, and develop into a better person.”

Fans Don’t Think That Marshall Really Provided An Apology

Although Marshall explained why he kept the tweets up, some of his followers weren’t buying it. “This makes no sense to me personally. I’m not who I was at 15 bt I also wouldnt knowingly leave posts that could offend or hurt others that I no longer agree with ‘bc it’s proof that I’ve grown’,” one fan commented. “I’d delete them bc they don’t represent me n also bc I dont want to hurt others.”

“My fellow Black women…there is no apology because he literally meant what he said then…and now. The ONLY thing that has ‘grown’ is his awareness of the fact that its not acceptable to say (tweet) this out loud. Stop asking for apologies,” another follower wrote. “Per usual we will receive none.”

Marshall Glaze Asks ‘At What Point Does Holding Someone Accountable Get Too Far?’

A few hours later, Marshall was back on Twitter, writing, “ALRIGHT. At what point does holding someone accountable get too far? I’ve got fake accounts dm’ing me death threats. Really? Come on people.”

“One more thing and I’m logging out for the evening: My apology to Black women is how I treat every single Black woman I encounter in my life. With respect and love. Words mean a lot but actions mean more,” he concluded in his final tweet.

What Did Marshall Tweet That Resulted In Death Threats?

One tweet read, “I want a Latina girlfriend , only so she could speak Spanish when we….Yea 😉 lol.”

Another tweet read, “A group of sad Black girls that sit in a d–n circle sharing their stories on why MEN ‘ain’t s–t’,” adding, “I’ll tell you, BLACK females. Why?”
