One lone speed camera has caught over 2000 drivers and pulled in more than $1 million in fines in just one month.
More than 2400 drivers were caught speeding through the Westconnex M4 East tunnel at Croydon, in Sydney’s Inner West, in August alone.
The sole camera has pulled in $1.3 million in revenue from fines.

Sydney’s Northconnex Tunnel at Normanhurst also pulled in a big chunk of change, totalling over $398,000 in fines.
Speed cameras heading eastbound on Oxford Street in Darlinghurst also pulled in a significant amount of cash, while another camera on Ryde Road, heading southbound at West Pymble, was not far behind.
