Lions fan wins $23,000 on ridiculous 15-leg NFL Week 8 parlay

One Lions fan cashed a 15-part, +94890 parlay after Detroit came out on top during “Monday Night Football” this week.

The bettor, who posted his champagne-soaked celebration on Instagram after the game, threw $25 down on 15 different Week 8 NFL games, and, incredibly, hit on every pick to win more than $23,000.

“I’d like to thank the Vikings, the Panthers, the Dolphins, the Cowboys, the Saints, the Birds [Eagles], the Jets, the Jags, the Titans, the Seahawks,” the bettor said in his victory video.

“I’m not done yet! The Ravens, the under in the Chiefs game, Joe daddy and the Bengals +3.5, the Chargers, and the late night.”

Donning a blue No. 81 Calvin Johnson Lions jersey, the bettor chugged champagne and sprayed whatever he couldn’t get down into the street in honor of the wild win.

The bettor had to sweat out a number of close calls on his way to the payout of a lifetime, including a late field goal from the Panthers that helped them beat the Texans by two and an overtime win by the Jets over the Giants.

But perhaps nothing was as excruciating as waiting out the Lions-Raiders game Monday after enduring 14 games on Sunday.

Betting on the NFL?

Once the game got started though, things were looking up for the Lions.

Detroit got out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter before Las Vegas countered with a touchdown in the middle of the second.

The Raiders would pull within three points late in the third quarter, but the Lions quickly pulled away, finishing with a 26-14 win and an even bigger win for a big fan.
