The pilot of a light plane has made an emergency landing on a golf course on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

9News understands two people were onboard the aircraft when it landed on the green on Mona Vale Golf Course after 2pm.

It’s understood they got out themselves and are being assessed by paramedics for minor injuries.

It’s believed the plane was flying from Camden to Wollongong when it crashed onto the course in front of the clubhouse.

Firefighters are also on the scene.
