A man has been rushed to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed multiple times with a samurai sword.
Emergency services were called to Ann Street, Lidcombe about 12am on Sunday, following reports of a stabbing.
A man, 26, was allegedly assaulted by another man who was wielding the sword.

He suffered multiple stab wounds to his arms and legs.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before taking him to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrested another man, 25, at the scene of the incident.
The two men are not known to each other.
