A wild brawl erupted at a Father’s Day motoring event that had been advertised as a ‘great family day out’.
Footage shows several figures trading savage blows and kicks to prone opponents at the ‘Father’s Day cruise’ held on Sunday at Lakeside Park Raceway, Kurwongbah on the western outskirts of the south-east Queensland city of Moreton Bay.
The video, posted on Facebook, shows two men in what appear to be the orange hi-vis tops of officials, opening the driver’s side door of a parked red car and apparently dragging a person out.
As the driver emerges from the vehicle three other men hurry over and begin grappling with the men in orange.
A flurry of blows and kicks is exchanged in the wild melee with one man falling to the ground, ripping his shirt and being kicked by one of the men in orange.
Customised and show cars continually motor past on the circuit as the fight continues.
A female voice can be heard saying ‘oh s***, now it’s on’.
A seventh person in orange runs to the scene but does not get involved in the fight.

One person commenting on Facebook claimed the red car was leaking oil for three laps of the circuit and wouldn’t get off.
However, others denied this or blamed the trackside officials.
‘Regardless if he didn’t pull off when he should have, no track official should ever escalate things to this level,’ one person wrote.
‘There are proper ways to go about things at the track.’
Others agreed.
‘That’s disgusting behaviour from the officials,’ one person wrote.
‘Hope they get banned from the tracks for a while.’
However, some apportioned blame to both sides.
‘Disgusting behaviour by both parties,’ one person wrote.
‘We all go to lakeside to have fun and have an awesome day. There is always a minority that want to spoil it for everyone else.’

Promoted as a family day out on Father’s Day the event invited Australian-built vehicles to drive the circuit for over three hours of cruising.
A Lakeside Park Raceway told The Courier-Mail internal investigations were underway, but gave no further information.
Queensland Police said no incident was reported to them from the event.
Lakeside Raceway has been contacted for comment.
