A 16-year-old boy has been charged after a car mounted a footpath in Melbourne‘s north-west, hitting and killing a pedestrian.

The learner driver was allegedly driving on his own when his car mounted a kerb and crashed into a man on the footpath on Taylors Road in Keilor Downs about 5.40am on Tuesday.
